Meat U Anywhere donates to school’s fundraiser

Dozens of parents, teachers and staff from Westlake Academy converged on Meat U Anywhere BBQ on Jan. 15 for a fundraiser to benefit the school.

Organized by the Westlake Academy House of Commons organization, hungry patrons chowed down on brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey and for the special occasion, peppered tenderloin. 

Meat U Anywhere founder Andy Sedino said that 10 percent of the day’s receipts would go back to Westlake Academy’s HOC to assist in events and projects that would benefit the school.

Westlake HOC Speaker of the House Rich Mueller thanked Sedino for the many fundraisers that Meat U Anywhere has sponsored in the past. 

“This is a great way to bring people in our school community together and a great way to show our support for a business like Meat U Anywhere,” Mueller said.
